The charm of Targhee Village lies in its scenic location, casual ambience, golf course layout and the well maintained grounds. It is accommodating to players of all ages and abilities. Walking the course is relatively easy as the greens and tees are close together. The social style layout is well suited for family reunions, wedding parties, and groups wanting a fun, social round of golf.
Sand traps are purposely absent in order to follow the continuity of the forest above the golf course as nature intended. Water hazards come into play however. Most greens are elevated.
Our unique practice facility incorporates a large driving range with an all grass teeing area. Two regulation length holes, a par 4 and par 5 are availiable for use while on the driving range or after a lesson. You are also welcome to incorporate them into your round of golf as a way to warm up before teeing off #1, or at the end for a little extra play.
